Ride for Life 2017 · 29 September 2017 to 1 October 2017 ·

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Hi, and thanks for visiting my Just Giving page.

My mate Steve and I are riding day 2 of this year's Ride for Life, between Ipswich and Cambridge. That's us in the photo, enjoying a well-earned "refreshment" break, during our recent warm-up 50 mile ride at the Tour de Broads.

Since then Steve's splashed out on a flashy new bike. Not only am I jealous to the max, but now he's vowing to "whip my butt" over what promises to be a much more lumpy 70 miles.

If you can spare a few quid to sponsor me, it would really spur me on with a morale boost that will fuel my efforts beyond what unfeasible quantities of bananas alone can deliver - not to mention, of course, providing some funds for a very deserving charity.

Many thanks

Mike
