With my son Ben I am both enthusiastic and awed to be joining a small team of St Luke’s Hospice walkers. This 26 mile challenge will take us through the stunning Yorkshire scenery of the Dales National Park, starting with smallest of the peaks, Pen-y-ghent. Completed over the course of 12 hours, we’ll also tackle the peaks of Ingleborough and Whernside as we make our way across the Pennine range. In total, we will climb an awesome 1585 metres!
