Story
I have become attached to Whitehawk Hill during the "covid era". It offers a serious challenge for a morning run plus some of the best views across Brighton. The Eastern slope above the Whitehawk estates is also the site of a chalk grassland recovery project right in the heart of the city (see Friends of Whitehawk Hill on Facebook). I have spent many happy hours volunteering on this great project together with with FoWH, Brighton Conservation Volunteers and BHCC Rangers.
The chalk grassland is doing great from the biodiversity perspective ... but there's plenty of litter on the Hill!
If you live in or near to B&H and would like to join us on the day, please check the FoWH Facebook page for details of meeting times and places.
