My amazing mum Paula lost her battle with cancer in Sept 2021, after we thought she had beaten it, having just been given the all clear in July 21. Mum was given not much over a week left to live which absolutely tore our family apart.

Having run throughout lockdown I thought I would raise money for a good cause to help others fight this awful disease. I promised mum I would still finish the marathon as I set out to do.
