I've been growing my hair since 2011 (I think...) and it's finally reached a length that's too much to deal with. Instead of just throwing it away, I want to donate it and I can't think of a better cause than to help kids who are fighting cancer.

I'm on the Autistic spectrum, and those that know me well will know that my hair has been a sort of "comfort" thing for me, having long hair has helped me feel far more comfortable with myself and given me the confidence to do things I wouldn't have done before.

I will say that I'm not cutting all of my hair off and donating it, I'm going to keep just enough to headbang along to my favourite bands at Bloodstock.
