Last September/October, my mum fell seriously ill with sepsis and was kept alive and brought back to full health by the fantastic team in the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Berkshire hospital. Their selfless commitment to tackling life-threatening situations is an awesome example of human spirit, and I would like to take the Paris marathon as an opportunity to raise as much money as possible for the ward.

Any donation, even just £1, would be hugely appreciated and will be going to one of the most impressive and important teams in the country. Thanks a heap!
