On July 1, I will be completing the Cheshire Dash 2023  (a 160km Cheshire cycle ride)  and on July 18th cycling Mont Ventoux, 'The Beast of Provence' - a 20km ride with an ascent of1,909 m (6,263 ft) in support of families affected by childhood cancers.

I know a lot of people kindly supported me last year when, I completed the Cheshire Dash plus 1,000km from Caen to Sète (Channel to Med) , so I felt I had to put a different spin on it to justify asking for your support in 2023.

The challenge will help raise vital funds to help The Joshua Tree continue to provide bespoke programmes of support to improve the emotional well-being and mental health of all immediate and extended family members who are affected by childhood cancers, across North-West England and North Wales, for as long as they need it.

It's a most worthy cause providing much needed support and facilities to children from toddlers to teenagers and their families. Please dig deep!
