Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have had 2 dogs from Llys Nini.
My latest moochy, Ozzie (Pic above) is my best pal and to think he was being mistreated makes me mad and sad, even now over 7 years after rehoming him as he is such a gentle soul.
The centre receives no central funding and solely relies on donations from the general public.
I just want to say a small thanks by doing my bit to raise some much needed funds to support the amazing work they do there.
On previous January challenges, I have cycled the 14 mile round trip from my house to Mumbles Pier and back.
This year, as I am raising money for Llys Nini, I thought I would involve Ozzie in the challenge.
So I am going to alternate between a 14 mile bike ride and a 4 mile dog walk throughout January. (Only snow/ice/illness/injury will extend this challenge into February)
On day 31, I will do both.
So the totals at the end of the month should be 224 miles on the bike and 64 miles walked.
I shall post regular proof of the challenge as I will track it all via GPS (Endomondo) and will also keep a blog chronicling my thoughts and deeds along the way.
Many thanks for your support.
