Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When I was a teenager I cycled everywhere and loved it so much I decided I either wanted to be in the Tour de France, or cycle from John o' Groats to Lands End for charity if I raised £5000 ( a phenomenal amount in those days). The Tour de France was plainly unrealistic, but the end to end is still possible...just! The aim is to cycle approx. 100 miles a day with maybe a 1 day break in the middle, leaving a day or 2 to catch up if I get behind. The fundraising target is still £5000, more attainable now than then, but still a huge amount. We all know somebody who suffers with mental health issues, in addition many people suffer in silence. I've chosen Lancashire Mind because it will help provide the support and infrastructure needed locally.

This will be a massive challenge for me and I'm not sure weather the bike ride or the fundraising will be the hardest part, but please consider donating to improve much needed mental health support throughout the region.
