Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...I'm holding an epic 24 hour gaming marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support to raise money for people affected by cancer.

I would consider myself an above average Halo player and have personally completed all campaigns on Legendary difficulty alone.

For the stream, I will be playing Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 back to back, start to finish.... with complete Halo newbies.

To make matters more interesting, the Iron skull will be active throughout the stream. For those that don't know, this affect will either restart the entire current level or reset gameplay to the previous checkpoint after any player death!

The entire thing will be streamed live on Twitch so you can witness every frustrating death and (hopefully) every level success as it happens!

Updates will be posted as and when!

Goals & play rules:

1) If we're lucky enough to raise £250, one level will be played on LASO difficulty (just to clarify, this is ridiculously hard)

2) If any newbies obtain more than a 25,000 personal score on a level, I will personally donate £5

3) Any time a vehicle is to be used with more than one seat, a newbie has to drive.

4) No speed running techniques will be implemented - every level will be played in its entirety

To breakdown the gameplay itself:

The Warm Up: Halo CE played on Normal difficulty with Iron skull active

Stepping Up A Notch: Halo 2 played on Heroic difficulty with Iron and Catch skulls active

Is Cortana Actually Worth It?:  Halo 3 played on Legendary difficulty with Iron, Catch, Cowbell and Fog skulls active

Downgraded: Halo 3 ODST played on Legendary difficulty with Iron, Catch, Cowbell and Fog skulls active

Home Stretch: Halo 4 played on Legendary difficulty with Iron, Cowbell, Catch, Fog and Famine skulls active

Whilst I am lucky enough to not have lost someone to cancer, I know a lot of people that have and that loads of people are affected by the horrible illness every day. Any donation, however big or small, will make a real difference to those that are affected.
