Story
So I am dusting off the road racers, and I am running the virtual London Marathon in support of Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) on Sunday 3 October 2021!
The last year has been tough for everyone - but for children who were already struggling, it has been catastrophic. TLG believe that all children should be able to reach their full potential. They support struggling children facing hunger, emotional trauma and crisis in their education. They offer them hope and a future.
Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) is an award-winning, national children’s charity with over 20 years’ experience supporting children across the UK facing some of the toughest starts in life; be it family breakdown, bullying, neglect, poverty or other debilitating circumstances.
The 200+ TLG Centres across the country support ALL children in need – regardless of race, background, religion or belief. We;
Feed hungry children – (TLG Make Lunch Centres)
Return smiles to primary school children who are struggling with the school day (TLG Early Intervention Centres)
Provide specialist teaching and therapeutic support to students in crisis in their education (TLG Education Centres)
From school exclusion to poverty and holiday hunger, there are children across the UK facing some of the toughest starts in life. They believe change is possible and that's why all their work lies an unchanging resolve to transform lives for good.
