My brother, Alexander, and I will be taking part in the Great North Run 2021 for the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) in memory of our wonderful mum, Gill, who died of brain cancer in June of this year. Our mum dedicated 47 years of her life to working in education, as first a teacher and then headmistress, and was passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people. We know that mum would have been first in line to give her support to CCLG and would be so thankful for all of your donations. 

I have set a target of £1,800 - one hundred pounds for each month that our mum bravely fought her brain cancer. Thank you for helping us to continue her fight against cancer by raising money for CCLG.
