Story

Believe you canI am taking on this challenge of a lifetime to raise vital funds for CancerCare while experiencing the beauty of one of the most breathtaking and largest deserts in the world the Sahara! My challenge is to trek for four days through this ever-changing landscape and to climb to the top of the massive Chigaga Dunes, where I will witness the desert sunrise. The days will be hot and the trekking will be tough, but Team CancerCare, will help all team members conquer this mammoth desert! Vistas as far as the eye can see combined with the pleasure of having the volcanic Anti-Atlas Mountains as our backdrop Thank you so much for your support! I am taking on this challenge in memory of a beautiful, kind and caring lady. My daughter, my friend, a wonderful wife to my son in law. Mum to my amazing, strong and brave grandchildren Dylan and Emily who i am so very proud of. Aimee died suddenly on 19th August 2021 Cancer Care have been a huge support to all of us through our bereavement. I am extremely grateful for there kindness, care and compassion at the most difficult time of my life.
