Our vision is for a world in which every mitochondrial disease patient has a voice and access to treatment, support to improve their life and, ultimately, a cure.

Story

Hi all,

On the 6th of July I will be cycling to for the Lily Foundation (you may remember the big man Jonathan Pearce running the marathon for the same cause)

It's been a few years before getting back in the saddle (because my bike was pinched) but I have been training hard in the country lanes of Kent with 2 other family members (Jamie&Paul) so we are confident of completion.

Lily was a beautiful baby that unfortunately died of a mitochondrial disease and the money raised will go into research to explain and find cure.

Thanks all and no matter how small, it counts.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Lily Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
