Story

I'M DOING THE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE!

On the 13th September 2009, I have volunteered to take part in the Three Peaks Challenge. The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in , & in just 24 hours. At a combined total height of over 3,400m, we will be hiking for over 20 miles, starting and finishing at 6am!

All money raised will go towards the welfare fund of the Jewish Lads' & Girls' Brigade (JLGB). I’ve been a member (and now a leader) of the JLGB since I was eight and, though it may not be the most high profile charities out there, it is a truly worthwhile cause. Last year the JLGB Welfare Fund gave more than £20,000 in Welfare Grants, so that young people in need could attend our activities, summer and winter camps and participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Demand is only expected to rise even further as the JLGB receives even more requests to help disadvantaged children and their families.

I hope that you feel this is a worthy cause, and at the very least, it would be great if you could find the time to sponsor my mountain-climbing madness. Donations of any size will be gratefully accepted.

Thank you,

Michael
