Story
Hey! On Sunday the 27th March I'm running the Liverpool Half Marathon to raise money for Joel's Bar.
Joel's Bar is a week-long conference for young Catholics, happening this April. It offers an opportunity for young people to deepen their faith, and build community with other like-minded people.
It's had a massive impact on my own life, and that's why I'm running a silly distance to raise money for it! I honestly don't know where I'd be without JB, so I'm doing everything I can to support it. I don't usually run more than 5k so it's guaranteed that I'll be completely miserable the whole way round, your money will definitely be hard-earned!
As part of the planning team for JB I really want to make this year's event a really special thing, so your generous donations would go a massive way to help that by directly supporting the running costs of the conference. We try to discount the price for our attendees, money really shouldn't be a barrier for someone to experience this, so this is why I'm fundraising.
I'd really appreciate your support with this, I'm hoping to raise at least £300 for JB, but the sky is really the limit with this - all donations will go directly towards the conference and be massively appreciated.
If I (somehow) manage to raise £1000, which would be absolutely mindblowing, I'll do it in fancy dress of your choice. Feel free to make any suggestions!
Thank you!!!!!
