Story

Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising page

'Little Bridge House’, Little Harbour, and ‘Charlton Farm' Hospice's are
providing vital care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Each one of these wonderful hospices provide respite, short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care.

This year one of the fundraising opportunities is to cycle from St Austell to Bristol. For those of you that know us, will know this will be one of the hardest challenges we have ever faced - But nothing in comparison to what each children and their families endures daily.

  • Day 1 St.Austell to Bideford, 76.5 miles with a 5000ft climbing,  3 climbs.
  • Day 2 Bideford to Taunton, 70 miles with a 5072ft climbing , 6 climbs.
  • Day 3 Taunton to Wraxall, 60 miles with  3261ft climbing , 4 climbs.

Zoe is not shy to endurance and challenges, completing the Half Iron man in 2019 for CHSW (Conquering her biggest fear of swimming in fresh water with fish -NOT SHARKS, but fish!) following on to Super
Human games after smashing in daily KFC's and artic rolls.
Now, Michelle on the otherhand does not do exercise! In fact she believes she is allergic to any form of exercise! Once taking part in a spin class, to only come over all faint and sick. Within 10 minutes,  leaving the class to lie on the floor of the changing rooms to recover. So, you see, this is and will be a huge challenge for the both of us.

Charlton Farm, has a special place in both our hearts. Callum, Zoe's son was diagnosed with Dravet syndrome at the young age of 2. Callum is now 16 years and has faced many challenges. however, Charlton Farm, have provided some of the most amazing care, family respite, and support, allowing for some much needed rest. Their staff, Facilities and care is phenomenal.

Without your donations, wonderful hospices such as these could not operate.

PLEASE help us to support this charity, so that more families can benefit from the support and care.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much

Zoe and Michelle xx
