A jump towards freedom

Frankie’s Skydive · 20 July 2019
I have decided to help raise money for a wonderful little boy. Frankie James Palmer who was born 29+5 weeks. Due to his prematurity frankie sadly was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Global Development Delay shortly after birth. The funds being raised are to fund a vital operation called SDR in St. Louis hospital in the USA performed by the amazing Dr Park.Selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) surgery is a procedure that treats muscle spasticity caused by abnormal communication among the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. It corrects muscle spasticity by cutting the nerve rootlets in the spinal cord that are sending abnormal signals to the muscles. With this operation Frankie will have a new lease of life. Unfortunately the NHS denied this operation so the family have to pay privately £90,000!
A 4 year old boy who hasn’t taken his first steps or had a chance to run amongst other children. Having my little boy just turn 4 recently it really touched my heart. Im praying before the year is done we have raised enough for this little boy to have his operation and hopefully help ease his pain and give him a fighting chance!
