Brighton Marathon 2018 · 15 April 2018 ·

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

I have no successfully completed the Brighton marathon! Thankyou for everyones support!!

I am sponsoring the arthritis uk charity for my mother. My mother was diagnosed with arthritis at a young adult age and at the age if 47 had her first knee replacement which unfortunately failed. She then went on to have a further 4 more operations on the same knee which failed and was  rejected by her body.

My mother has arthritis all over her body and will one day need hip replacement. She is disabled and unable to work. In aid to raise money for her and to help research a cure for arthritis, I am running the Great South Run on the 22nd October and on 15th April 2018 I will be running the Brighton marathon. Which for me is a huge step as this will be the first full marathon I will have participated in.

This is so close to my heart with this being my mother so I want to raise as much money to one day have a cure for her which will be for a knee replacement to be successful!
