Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 28th October 2020 I lost my Nan to liver cancer. My Nan was diagnosed with the cancer at the beginning of March shortly before the first lockdown, which meant she had to spend a lot of time stuck at home and unable to go out and enjoy whatwe know now to be her last few months. We did manage to get her away for a short break to Skegness in August which she very much enjoyed. My Nan became quite poorly in the middle of October and spent 10 lonely days in hospital as no visitors were allowed. She came home on the 23rd October and spent her last 5 days at home where the Myton hospice nurses came out several times a day and looked after her. The nurses went above and beyond and my Nan looked forward to them coming to see her.
My Nans funeral is on the 19th November but instead of having loads of flowers I wanted to do something that I know she would like and raise money for the Myton hospice.
