My name is Michelle, and I volunteer as Chair of trustees for Home-Start Kernow. I love baking and always made pancakes with my children when they lived at home. It was a happy time and made us smile. My daughter in law was making pancakes for my grandchildren recently and gave me the idea for my fundraiser. 

I am going to walk around my village with a home-made pancake costume on between the 9th and 16th February. I will be practising flipping a pancake on my walks for the finale on 16th. I hope my walks will make people smile and bring a little joy to the week. If anyone has a birthday on 16th in the village or nearby, let me know and I will come and sing Happy Birthday to them. 

 I am also going to ‘Cascade the Kindness’ by taking baked goods to the people supporting the Covid vaccination programme at the Stithians showground at the end of the week to thank them for their valuable work in our community. 

Wish me luck and give me a wave if you see me in the village...........
