As one
of the sponsors of UKRO Cardiff 2018, we recognise the outstanding work of our
rescue services and the vital role they play in society.
This 3-day event
takes place from 27th – 29th September. On the 30th September, the city then plays
host to the Tunnel to Towers fundraiser; a 5km
run/walk around the city centre to raise funds for the Fire Fighters charity
and charities associated with the emergency services and armed forces.
This event is
organised by Firefighting Fundraisers, who were inspired by the New York Fire
Department’s ‘Tunnel to Towers Run’, which was organised by the Stephen Siller
Foundation.
