Cancer Research Wales are travelling to one of Europe’s most fascinating countries, to take on a challenge that will leave lifelong memories. Help us fight for a Wales without cancer.

Story

So we are off on a trek to Iceland!!  Walking 16km - 24km a day over all different types of terrain.

We know Cancer has touched everyone in some shape or form.  My (Michelle) family has experienced more than most and this is the reason I am very passionate about this and want to raise money any way I can.

My Stepfather passed away at the age of 30.  My Grandad at the age of 59 to prostate cancer.  One of my best friends at the age of 36 2 years ago.  My mum thankfully beat breast cancer and still has regular check ups.  Lastly what my family is going through at the moment has made me sign up now... my grandfather who is like a dad to me has been battling Myeloma for over 5 years. He recently passed away on 18th April 2019. He was such a fighter and my hero - I want to make him proud and take on this challenge for him but also everyone else I have mentioned and for everyone who has lost someone or going through this now.

Sarah's father has recently overcome cancer and I know this was a very hard time for her but with a happy ending!!!

Please donate anything you can and we will do our best and get through the Trek!  16km - 24km a day over all sorts of terrain and weather - only we would do something like this!!!
