Story

Me and Inma are going to travel to Tanzania on 24th August, we are going on a 10 day trek, climbing 5,895m to the summit of Kilimanjaro.

This is going to be ridiculously tough, a challenge of a life time.

We are motivated to get to that summit to raise money for WaterAid, a fantastic charity working in some of the toughest places in the world to enable entire communities to unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good. The money we raise will go towards providing basis human rights; clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, which will save lives.

To kick off our fundraising I have drunk just water for January! That's no coffee no tea and absolutely no alcohol!! And.... I made it. At times I actually thought climbing Kilimanjaro would be easier than drinking just water for a month, but I made it!

We have had a Laboratory WaterAid Quiz night hosted by the fabulous Mr T. which was a huge success, a very entertaining evening.

We have bake sales, football tournament and many more fundraising events coming up.

Not to forget our Kasia Lis, incredibly brave, she will shaving all her beautiful hair off in support of mine and Inma's trip to raise money for Wateraid!

So please give generously and thank you for your support.

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. But all over the world, communities are living without these essential human rights, leaving their lives at risk and their potential untapped.

By donating this winter you are helping reach 250,000 people around the world with clean water. Every £1 donated to Untapped between 1 November 2017 and 31 January 2018 will be doubled by the UK Government, up to £5 million.

Together we can change lives.
