So here I go on this big adventure to help protect these beautiful Kings and Queens of the animal Kingdom. I will be funding  the trip myself and hope to raise a minimum of £2000 Any donation you feel you could make would be gratefully received and will make a big difference  in protecting wild lions so they are around for generations to come.

I have been volunteering for LionAid UK for over a year now as part of the West Midlands Pride. We will be a team of 15 taking on Killimanjaro  as the Lion Hearts team which will be no mean feat taking on the 19,340 ft trek challenge! 

Funds raised go towards a conservation project in Merueshi a village we will be visiting as part of the trip. This will help the Merueshi community develop a conflict mitigation project which will help avoid lions being killed for taking livestock.
