Have I got your attention? Good, then lets move on.....

Foolishly my sister, Nicola and me have entered this years Great North Swim on Sunday 19th June, taking place at Lake Windermere. We are in the 1 mile category at 12.30pm.

Large or small, any donation would be greatly appreciated as I prepare to humiliate myself in the name of charity. I will publish pictures of me in the wetsuit and full ensemble accordingly, be warned it will be horrific and I take no responsibility for any mental trauma/damage caused by viewing these. Possibly even pictures of me being harpooned or rescued/refloated by Greenpeace!

We are doing this in our brother's memory, Ryan Leigh Gaunt and have selected the Yorkshire Air Ambulance as our charity because we took donations for the same at his funeral. This was because of the link to Top Gear's Richard Hammond, and this was one of his favourite TV programmes.
