I am fundraising for QE Hospital Maternity Unit. Like all other services in the NHS, they have been through a difficult time during the pandemic. I would like to applaud all the staff and acknowledge their innovative ways that allowed them to continue to work hard and support mothers - from antenatal, giving birth and when discharged home. The money raised will be used to purchase things that are above and beyond what the NHS can provide alone, such as additional comforts for babies and women in their care, staff education and training.
