London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
I have been running for over three years now and was lucky enough to get a ballot place in the Virgin London Marathon. I felt that this was an opportunity to raise money for a small local charity in Cornwall who wouldn't normally benefit from an event such as VLM.
I recently re-homed a beautiful bulldog called Princess Leia so this charity is close to my heart. It is a centre that helps dogs and puppies find their forever home. The dogs that come to them are from all over Cornwall and they re-home upto 200 dogs a year. They are constantly improving their facilities and even have training hall which helps dogs with their rehabilitation. They are focused on individual dogs needs for successful re-homing and none of this can be done without donations to the charity.
I am going to complete VLM no matter of the pace, so please help me run for a cause by donating to this small but worthwhile charity.
Give your pooch a cuddle and dig deep guys :)
Please see their website using the link below to see more about what they do and to see some of the dogs that need re-homing
