So please dig deep and donate now.

after 22 years of doing 'nothing much' certainly not running, I've decided to run in the great Manchester run to raise as much as i can for a great cause, Royal Manchester childrens hospital's intensive care unit.

In 2010 my Nephew Philip was knocked down whilst crossing the road going home for tea. He was transfered to Machester children's hospital, where they worked very hard to try to save him but sadly he passed away on the 23rd March 2010 aged 9.

We are so greatful to all the staff at the hospital for their efforts that i feel i need to try and give something back and none of us know if or when we may need their help again.

The Charity supports projects which aim to make life a little easier
for their young patients and their families, particularly when they
have long or frequent stays in hospital. They do this through projects like creating a more child-friendly hospital environment, or providing highly specialised equipment to improve diagnosis and treatment
of children.  They also support research projects to improve
the understanding of children’s illnesses. The support that Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital provides can help families to stay together and support one another during what can be a very difficult time for them.

I hope you'll help me to raise as much as possible and keep me going through my training.

Thank you

Michelle xx
