Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge 2024 · 4 May 2024 ·

We support disabled children and their families in West Kent. For children we run youth groups and holiday sessions (ages 6 to 25); baby and preschool stay-and-plays; parents can access one to one family support, webinars, training and support groups and families can enjoy our supported trips.

Story

Michelle says, “The best thing to happen was meeting Space 2 Be Me. We had limited family support nearby, and it was such a relief to meet Helen, one of Space 2 Be’s lovely Family Support Workers who helped us with our DLA form and invited us to one of their Stay and plays.”

“Since then, we have found our ‘tribe’ – a regular Space 2 Be Me club for Izzy to meet friends. Somewhere she can go where she doesn’t need to hide or mask. And somewhere parents can go to meet others who are going through similar experiences.”

“With my Ultra Challenge coming up, I decided to support Space 2 Be Me as it’s important to give something back to them as they have given us so much support over the years. It doesn’t go unnoticed!”
