Twisted Three Peaks Challenge

Twisted Three Peaks · 19 May 2016
At the crack of dawn on the 19th of May I'll be setting off up Ben Nevis with like minded fitness fanatics, the beginning of three days testing our strength and endurance.
The usual Three Peaks Challenge involves hiking Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden within 24 hours; Rob Blaire of Commando Temple lay down the gauntlet for an extra challenge, adding the twist of carrying additional load. And as we have the load in the form of a kettle bell, why not add swings at the top of each mountain?
Such an epic trek needs to be for a cause! I've been researching ways to give back to my community and came across The Shepherds Bush Families Project & Children's Centre. They are an independent charity and children's centre supporting families who are homeless and those living under housing stress.
My own additional twist...on the final day when down the mountain I'll be doing a burpee for each donation received. Not sure what a burpee is? Arguably one of the most hated bodyweight exercises, transitioning from standing to floor and back up again...probably the last thing I would want to do when the three mountains are complete! But here I am asking for as many donations as possible...it's all for a cause.
Homelessness ins't only about sleeping it rough on the streets. Housing insecurity and homelessness cover a wide range of situations. Many homeless people have a roof over their heads without having a proper home, because where they live is temporary, insecure, overcrowded, unsanitary or unsafe.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU....Please donate generously. I'm hoping to raise £1,500 per peak, a total of £4,500. Anything over this amount would be purely amazing!! This is a pretty big deal and a massive challenge so be as generous as you can, any help is greatly appreciate.
I'll keep you updated on our progress up the mountains, it's going to be an awesome event! Please share my just giving page anywhere possible...every penny received counts.
Happy & healthy wishes!
