My love for running started October 2018 and I am excited to take on my next challenge which is The London Landmarks Half Marathon for Independent Age. More than 1 million older people say they are often or always lonely. As well as feeling cut off from friends and family, it can mean that when difficulties arise, they feel they have no one to turn to. Your donations will help Independent Age to recruit and train more volunteer visitors and callers and bring the gift of friendship to older people across the UK.
