Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit Michelle & Tom's fundraising page. We are being brave & jumping in June (can't wait!) for the RSPCA Norwich & Mid-Norfolk Branch where Michelle works, to raise much needed funds to continue their vital work. We see first hand all the help that is greatly needed as we foster lots of cats back to good health & happiness in readiness to find their forever home...
The Norwich & Mid-Norfolk RSPCA is based on Barrack Street in Norwich. The branch is entirely self-financing, receiving no funding other than that which it generates through fundraising activities, legacies and our charity shops. Our work in the region costs us around £800 per day.
The branch rehomes cats and dogs, with an on site cattery for 38 cats and spaces for 10 dogs at a private boarding kennels outside the city.
Did you know that we receive no national or government funding? We have to raise all the money needed to keep helping animals in your community - and those costs add up!
It costs the branch over £800 to support our services every single day.
On average each cat costs over £300 to treat and care for whilst waiting to be rehomed. A dog costs over £500!
By donating you can help secure the future of the Norwich & Mid-Norfolk branch of the RSPCA.
