We fund research, education & equipment to help fight all Head & Neck disease

Story

This is my beautiful dear friend, Mel Jaggard. She was a fighter. Mel suffered from a very rare form of cancer called ACC. She beat it once when she had a large tumor removed from her head some years ago.... but this very aggressive form struck back in anger, inflicting Mel with multiple lung-tumors. Throughout her fight, she never stopped battling, never moaned and never stopped inspiring us all with her positive attitude.

At just 34, Mel finally lost her battle... she was beautiful, a great Mum and a wonderful wife....one of the most inspirational people you could ever possibly meet.

Throughout Mel's fight, the Get A-Head charity continued to research for a cure and we're all grateful for for their help in trying to fix our dear friend.

Their search for a cure continues.
