My Dad passed away on May 1st 2018 after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

What is MND?

Nerve cells (neurones) control the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow. Motor neurone disease (MND) is the name given to a group of diseases in which these neurones fail to work normally. Muscles then gradually weaken and waste, as neurones degenerate and die. It is a cruel condition with no cure.

I can’t change my dad’s outcome but I can carry on his brave fight & do my bit to help fund vital research to find a cure so that other people might get a fighting chance to beat this awful disease 🙏🏾

On October 13th 2019 I am going to run my first Half Marathon for this amazing charity!
My dad was a warrior and dealt with his illness so courageously and he was always filled with faith. He is my inspiration and it is my love for my dad that will get me to the finish line and also motivate me to train through these last few months.

Did I mention I have already completed the Vitality 10k too as part of my training? 😅

Please help me to raise money for this extremely worthy cause, so close to my heart. 

ALL funds will be split between the Head Office of the MND Association and the Milton Keynes Branch which supported my dad throughout his illness 💙
