Story
Evie-Mae was born with 8 different conditions, 5 of which were rare and complex heart defects. At the beginning of Evie's life it became clear that her life was going to be very limited and was in and out of hospital for palliative care. In her short 23 months of life Evie underwent 4 major surgeries to try and prolong her life. Sadly after her last two surgeries it became clear that Evie was not going to make it and she passed away at Martin House hospice on 27th february 2013. The care which Evie and her family received from Martin House was second to none and we would like to raise money for the hospice in order to help other sick children like Evie-Mae and their families.
Myself along with other family members and a friend are participating in 3 major events in June and July 2014.
29th June 2014 - GREAT MANCHESTER BIKE RIDE (52 MILES) with Gary Denton and Daniel Pickering
13th July 2014 - MANCHESTER TO BLACKPOOL BIKE RIDE (65 MILES) with Craig Mullhall
20th July 2014 JANE TOMLINSON LEEDS 10K with Lucy Denton
In doing these events we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for funds towards Martin House Children Hospice in recognition of the great care and love afforded to Evie Mae in the last days of her life.
Please help us achieve our goal by donating generously either online via the justgiving page or by texting the code MGLC99 plus the donation amount to 70070.
