The EBA makes a positive difference for babies, families and staff in Neonatal Care at the Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton, and the Special Care Baby Unit at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. We raise funds to purchase equipment for the units to help save more babies lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Ride London-Essex 100 this year in memory of my grandaughter, Tilly Roberts.

Tilly was born prematurely at 24+5 weeks in January 2014, and spent 5 months in the Trevor Mann Baby Unit & Special Care Baby Unit. The Early Birth Association supported my Daughter and Son-in-Law through that difficult time and we later found out that the EBA funds vital life saving equipment for the units, as well as provides support for staff, families and parents of the babies on the units.

Tilly made it home for 6 months, but unfortunately picked up a virus in Jan 2015 and spent the next 10-months in hospitals, sadly passing away on 1st November 2015 at the age of 21 months.

Tilly was such a happy, loving girl - even when going through the roughest of times in hospital she had the biggest smile on her face. Although I am raising funds for the EBA, I am also doing it to keep Tilly's memory alive as she should never be forgotten.
