I have been with my partner Pauline for 8 years now. For 7 of these years I got to know her mother Lily, who was suffering with Alzheimer's  disease.  We visited her quite regularly, at first in her home, but as the illness got worse  in a care home. We had a roller coaster time of highs and lows, watching this dreadful  disease take hold until she sadly died in March this year. So me, Pauline and family and friends, are taking on the Hadrian's wall  trek of 26 miles in memory of Lily and all other sufferers to raise as much money as possible,  so please give generously 😊
