We run courses to empower people with cancer

Story

You might know us better as the Middle Aged Maniacs – a bunch of ageing runners who’ve done crazy events like the Tough Mudder to raise money for charity.

For 2017 we have some new members and a new name - the Middle Aged Marathoners - because we are running the Stirling Marathon. You might have heard us huffing and puffing our way around Balfron first thing in the morning!

We will be donning our running shoes in aid of Rainbow Valley, the Stirlingshire charity which is building a specialist holistic centre at Ardlui, Loch Lomond, to offer preventative and self-help therapy to cancer patients and advice to their families and friends.

One of the values of Rainbow Valley is “We go beyond what is expected” so that’s exactly what we are going to do by running 26 miles and 385 yards on Sunday 21st May.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and thank you for whatever you are able to donate. Every penny will make a difference.

(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.)
