Prudential Ride London 2016 page ride for Daren Buttriss

Earlier this year on 29th March 2016 , our good friend and cycling buddy lost his battle against a brain tumour .
Aged 46 leaving his wife and 2 children .
Up until February 2015 Daren was a seemingly fit man , until he collapsed and got rushed into hospital .
At first it was thought that he had suffered a bleed to the brain , But it later turned out that he had a brain tumour . Which turned out to be an aggressive tumour at that.
After undergoing Surgery at Addenbrooks Hospital , Daren a Keen cyclist fort on still riding when ever he could , and still taking part in our Tuesday night Spinning class at the Hudson sports center Wisbech .
He continued to battle never giving in ,( Never Surrender !) was his moto .
At first it seemed hard to ride with him not able to come along but he always took great interest in our rides and never missed a opportunity to comment on our Sunday ride. It seemed to help him.
We are a four man team which are Luke Mayne , Charles Bingley , John Sewell and Paul Kierman . this will be the first time we have ridden a 100 mile sportive . We are hoping to raise some money and raise awareness of Brain Tumour .
