Story

On Saturday 18 May 2019, a team from MIDFIX will be taking part in the Tough Mudder 5k challenge held at Belvoir Castle to raise funds for the Hayward Hospice.  Hayward House is located in the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital and provides specialist, hospice-style care for people with life-limiting illnesses such as neurone disease, Parkinson’s and cancer.

The Tough Mudder is described as the craziest, muddiest and
toughest challenge on the planet.  This challenge will entail 13 obstacles to test our strength, balance and nerves.  Ultimately, it relies on teamwork to get through the obstacles.  There’s a real mix of fitness level and abilities within the group, some haven’t run since their school days. No-one has done the tough mudder before so we are all a bit anxious about the challenge.  One thing is for certain though, we are prepared to get muddy, very muddy!
