Midlothian Muslim Community Centre (Bonnyrigg Mosque) is fundraising to secure the future of the centre. We have recently purchased a property to give the Masjid a fixed income and allow self sufficiency Insh'Allah. We are aiming to raise £120,000 to pay off the debts. 

Once an area of only a handful of Muslims, Midlothian now has a growing Muslim population of over 1000 residents. In the past, due to the far distance of the nearest Mosque, Madrasah classes took place at the local High School and a community hall was used for Taraweeh prayers. Alhamdulillah in 2013 the community got together to purchase a building within Midlothian - Bonnyrigg. The Centre is a hub for the local Muslim Community and also serves as a basis to connect with the Non-Muslim community of Midlothian.
