As many of you know, these past couple of months have been the hardest months of my life, losing my mum to a very short spell of Liver Cancer...... Just three months was all it took before Cancer took our AMAZING, CARING, SELFLESS Mum/Wife/Nanny & Loving friend.

I'm doing a 'Vinylthon' on my weekly Radio Show (MIDTONE MUSIC) this Sunday 11th April to raise a little bit of money for 'Macmillan, Caring Locally' who have been there for us in so many ways. 

Mum's love of music has influenced me so much with my DJ'ing Career over the years. Mum loved her dance music, from Soul & Funk, R&B and vocal, feel good House Music. Mum would tune in every week, put on her dancing shoes and have a good old boogie (usually with a Malibu & Pink lemonade in hand)! Please join me, Steve Middleton, as I take to the decks live, for a mighty 7 hour set from 11-6pm this Sunday, playing some of Mums most loved House and Soul records.
