Give WAY to Summer

Over the course of the next 3 months I am challenging myself to walk/run 300km each month, so, averaging 10 km a day, and at the same time trying to raise some much needed funds for a charity very close to my heart - WAY Widowed and Young. The charity provides bereavement support to people that lose their husband/wife/partner at the age of 50 or under.

Many of you know how WAY has helped me to cope with grief and bereavement after losing Steve in 2014. Through WAY I have made many dear hopefully lifelong friends and by raising funds over the summer I’ll be giving a bit back to help others like myself particularly those struggling through those early years.

Coronavirus and lockdown has been somewhat unreal for all of us and WAY,  like so many other charities,  has suffered financially due to fundraising events being cancelled because of the pandemic.

I am asking if you can, please, to dig deep in your pockets, and make a small donation to this wonderful charity, even if it’s just a few pence, to help others, who, like me, have been or are still struggling to live and rebuild a life having lost their world ....

Thank you
