Could you make a splash for people affected by dementia? We're challenging you to swim 1, 5 or 10 miles in 30 days.

Story

The past year has been tough for everyone, but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest. So that's why I'm taking on Swim for Dementia and raising vital funds.

Every Christmas my family choose a worthy cause to donate money to .... and I've decided to use my love of swimming this year to help others like my Nanna by Swimming for Dementia. I have decided to swim no less than 10 miles, a mile for every year of my life, which equates to 644 lengths of a 25 mtr pool, to help raise these funds. Some of the distance will be achieved in a 25mtr pool and some in a static pool based on the number of strokes per length.

These funds will help not only Dementia patients but also the families who have to sadly watch their loved ones suffer.

Please donate as much or as little as you are able and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most.

Thank you all so much for helping me help others.
