On June 22nd the Beamish family, along with friends, will be cycling in the Cotswold Water Parks to help improve the lives of people in one of the world's poorest countries - Burkina Faso. The following link http://adra.org.uk/index.php/projects/burkina/ describes the project aims in detail, but in short  is designed to counteract increasing desertification by improving water and soil conservation measures, in addition to soil fertility and reforestation. In addition to the contributions from ADRA (Adventist Development Relief Agency) this project is being co-financed by the European Commission.
