We’re creating lasting change for millions of people with disabilities in some of the world’s poorest places. We work alongside people with disabilities, their families and communities, making sure they have access to healthcare, education and a future where they can thrive.

Story

In October 2011 my brother Chris and I will be climbing the 5,360m to Everest Base Camp to raise money for CBM UK.

The trip is privately funded, so 100% of donations go to CBM.

We're raising money specifically for two CBM-supported eye hospitals in Nepal: at Lahan, and Biratnagar. They specialise in eye surgeries, and in 2003 performed CBM's 5 millionth cataract operation! Please help us continue to enable these hospitals to give sight to those who otherwise would spend their lives in darkness. Thank you
