Anyone that has known me for a while will have seen me put weight on for a number of years, year on year.

I have now decided that it's time for change. Time to lose weight to look a little more "normal". 

I could of course just get on with it, as I have since 27th January 2015, in which time to today (13th March 2015) I have lost 2 stone. 

But I am not happy with just losing weight by myself. I have decided to try and raise some money for Cancer Research UK. My brother-in-law was taken by this filthy disease in July 2013. Cancer contributed to my Dads death in 2002 and it has also affected and is affecting other members of my family at this very minute.

I am sure there will not be anyone who reads this that has not had a family member or friend that has suffered from Cancer. 

I am aiming to lose 6 more stone by the end of November 2015. I need to lose more weight than that to get to where I want to be, but in the next 8 months I am trying to lose another 6 stone. Come on I'm going to make the effort - Can you do too by donating to Cancer Research.....
