In 2021 we lost my Grandad. Had it not been for the British Heart Foundation and other heart charities like them, the research and technology would not have been there to give us the privilege of spending time with him.

More recently, my father in law nearly died from a heart attack. Had it not been for the research and inspirational work from the BHF, he wouldn't be here now.

My Grandad fund raised for heart charities throughout his years and I want to do my part to carry on that incredible work. I've never run a marathon but I want to show myself I can. The training will be hard, the run will be hard but it's only by pushing ourselves do we realise what we're truly capable of.
