It is shaming that Great Ormond St Hospital should be dependent on charitable donations to keep going but there you have it. When my son Bertie was very small, he went there for a very scary brain operation to help him overcome his debilitating epilepsy. He is now studying for a PhD following his Masters and a first at Kent in classical studies. His success is testament to the team at GOSH and I can't thank them enough.
